Export the 3D CAD files in the correct format.
Upload your 3D models in STEP, IGS, or Parasolid format. STL is accepted only for 3D printing jobs. STEP remains our preferred format for the majority of projects because it retains full geometric accuracy. OBJ files are not supported, as they lack the precise data needed for manufacturing.
Provide 2D CAD drawings for precision parts.
When parts require tight tolerances, include 2D drawings in PDF or DWG format. These drawings allow us to clearly interpret critical dimensions, tolerances, and finishing requirements, resulting in a more accurate quote.
Note the quantity required for each part.
Specify the quantity for every individual part. Production method and unit cost can change significantly depending on volume.
